I replaced the power/ audio cable on my iPhone 5. Everything went as planned and seem to go back without any problems. However I noticed the front camera is now not working. I ran into this problem after replacing a cracked screen and it was a loose cable. I checked the cable twice this time and the front camera is still not operating. Is there anything else I need to check ?
You’re sure it worked before you started? I’ve spent hours chasing my tail because of that… If so, check the pins of the connector on the logic board. My guess is they got bent and need to be straightened so that they’ll make contact with the connector.
