During a screen replacement, I have damaged two resistors on the logic board FL15 and C194. As a result, front camera does not work. When I switch the camera from rear to front, the screen stays blurry and the app freezes. After looking closer at schematics, FL15 seems to be related to front cam and C194 seems to related to proximity sensor (which is strange because proximity sensor seems to be working okay). So my questions is, what would you advice about fixing these two resistors? Do they need to be replaced (how?) or just somehow connected by soldering? I do not want to do the job myself as these components are extremely small. The marked photo is my board and the unmarked photo is how it is supposed to look like. thanks in advance.

Ha–I just talked to you! To add–in iPhones, filters like FL15 are required for continuity in the line. They allow DC voltage to pass through them while filtering AC noise. The loss of a filter is the loss of a circuit. In iPhones, capacitors like C194, serve a more indirect function. A capacitor isn’t a component that is required for continuity in the line. The job of the capacitor is to assist the circuit in maintaining a clear, even signal. For example, if a component was putting out signal spikes that passed through a capacitor, then the capacitor could absorb these signal spikes and turn them into an even signal line. If the capacitor is not there, then the signal will still exist in the line, it just may be a little more ‘rough’ than it would be otherwise. Not sure if that makes sense— but that is my current pea-brained understanding of basic electronics. I’m pretty good at component level repair, but just getting my feet wet learning to really understand the schematics. Hopefully somebody else (cough OldTurkey cough) can give us even more guidance.
