I replaced my iPhone 6s Plus’s screen including camera, sensor [works], and call-speaker [works] with OEM. All flex cables are intact and undamaged. I’ve read some posts about that it might be related to a grounding bracket. I can’t find any information about the location of this bracket on the 6s Plus. Any idea what might be causing it and how to fix it? Things i’ve tried: Force closing Camera App. Restarting Phone. Settings Reset Factory Reset Upgrading to latest iOS [13.6] Using different video apps [Facetime & Whatsapp]
Have you tried to put the old front cam from your old screen to the new, maybe the cam on the new screen is defect? Or is the old front cam also defect? This is the first thing you can try.
I just did a System Info check using Cydia and it does show a serial number for the front camera. UPDATE: I decided to buy a new Front Camera to see if that fixes the issue. Will update asap.
