Hey guys, i was replacing my 7 plus screen, and when it came to reassembly, all went well, before i replaced the seal and closed it back up, i tested the components, and noticed my front (selfie) camera wasnt working. I tested other components on the same ribbon cable (earpiece and prox sensor) and both work well? Here have been my troubleshooting steps -Hard reset -Software Restore -Reseat ribbon cable Any advice? I wouldnt have thought that replacing the entire cable would be a fix because currently 2/3 components on the cable work, and the camera worked fine before replacement, and wasnt exposed to any damaging actions. Hi, It sounds as if the flex cable has been damaged, if this has been removed wrongly you may have broken the solder joint which connects both parts of this cable this appears to be a common issue with repairs on these as plenty of our customers appear to do this. When removing this cable you must work from right to left. Spam removed
