Hi friends, I teardown my pixel 4XL to replace rear camera. But when I assembled again, my front camera and faceid can not work. Face enrollmend didnt work , front camera black screen when flipping from.rear camera to front camera. I am quite sure I teardown carefully. Really appreciated your help. Thanks
I too am having the same problem I even replaced the front camera and sensor assembly. The camera app doesn’t work for front camera at all. It dose however show a B&W imagine on other apps but it isn’t using the camera but the sensor to the left of it.
Well possible reason maybe that the clip connector is not properly connect to the main board, which will cause the face id not to function as well and also result to the black screen when camera flips from rear to front. Or the flex connector connected to the main board is cut now.
