Chosen Solution
So I was given a phone that had a severely broken screen on it. I bought a replacement screen and replaced it and battery. Screen works perfectly along with everything else besides front, back and ear speaker. I’ve replaced ear speaker, but no go. I have no idea about the cameras. Is there anything I should look at to try to trouble shoot this? This phone had no water damage if that helps. Some idiots worked on this phone before and lost some of the screws could that be causing some kind of issue?
The earpiece and mic are likely caused by a faulty front camera and earpiece cable so that can be fixed as your probably used the old one. The back camera might just be disabled by software because iPhones hate it when their cameras aren’t plugged in and sometimes require a full DFU restore to get them fully working. Bottom line :Replace front camera and earpiece cable, and DFU restore phone
Alright I was able to fix the earpiece and front camera with new ribbon cable. However my back cam still wont work. When I switch from front to back it has error saying flash disabled waiting for iphone to cooldown. Iphone does not feel hot to the touch.
