My Frigidaire FPSC2277RF, side by side, is making the ice. I can feel it in the tray, but it is not dumping it. So it seems that whatever tells the icemake to dump the ice from the tray, isn’t working. I am looking for a way to manually dump it. Also looking for a part number to replace it. Any ideas? Thank You.
Hi @stacey9554 , Here’s a link to the service data sheet for your model. It explains how to get into the diagnostic modes and to test all the functions of the refrigerator. Further to this, according to this parts supplier it could be either the ice maker assembly - part #16 ice maker diagram or the ice dispenser solenoid - part #45 ice container diagram that is the problem The part number for the icemaker is 243297613 and for the solenoid is 241675704. There are 5 different FPSC2277RF models i.e. RF0, RF1, RF2, RF5 and RFB (you never specified which one you have) but they all use the same ice maker parts. There are other parts suppliers online. Search for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best. Hopefully this is of some help.
