Chosen Solution
My friend got drunk and accidentally threw up and it got all over the ps4 controller. Now I cleaned the outside thoroughly but it keeps turning on and wont stay turned off. It exits to the home menu and clicks on things without me ever touching it. I cant even use my other controllers because this one refuses to disconnect. It wont let me exit anything or click on anything. Help???
Sounds like potential water damage. If you can, open it up and clean as much of it as you can. The earlier the better. The longer that stuff sits in there the better chance there is for permanent damage.
The vomit may have damaged a circuit board, most likely the part controlling the PS button. If all else fails, allow the controller to discharge (run out of power).
