i said the fridge gets cold .the freezer does not ????
Hi, What is the actual temperature in the freezer? Can you hear if the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment is operating? (The unit has two evaporators and two evaporator fans, one of each in the refrigerator compartment and in the freezer compartment) If the freezer evaporator fan is not operating, check that the freezer door switch is OK. The fan will stop when the door is opened and start again when the door is shut, if the compressor is running. If it isn’t running at all, check that it is not iced up due to a faulty defrost heater or defrost thermostat problem If the model is a GFSS6KKYASS then here’s the mini manual for the model that may help in case it is a wiring problem.
