Whirlpool WRF560SEYM00Could anyone tell me what parts I need to replace? I thought the door cam but there’s nothing for it to stay in place inside the door.. my daughter was having a fit & swung the door open.. thanks in advance!
Hi @pinkdiamond , Looks like the hinge centre pin assembly part #14 cabinet parts is broken. If you determine that is it broken, then there are other parts suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for WRF560SEYM00 parts to get results
If you have your owner’s papers, there should be a phone and online Whirlpool site for support. There may be a parts diagram on paper or Whirlpool online to search for parts. Swinging the door without stopping it may have broken a plastic pin meant to serve as a hinge instead of a metal pin. Whirlpool parts diagrams can help pin point which parts to replace. If Whirlpool doesn’t supply parts then searching for repair and distributors of parts would be the next step. Last is calling in a Whirlpool service repairman.
