I have the same issue with Kenmore Elite 79572052116. Freezer fan ok and evaporator good, Freezer IS freezing. Top fresh foods NOT cooling. I heard a “fan struggling” noise the other day in upper part of fridge left side. Ice maker side. Next morning it was warm on fresh foods side. Trying to see what going on and if its the evap fan motor. The fan you speak of isn’t the little black one in the photo is it? I feel i still have to get the white panel off somehow but not sure how it comes out. Thanks!! @Ladytech
Hi @racerx65 , Looking at the parts for your model, the evap fan motor part #404C is part of the duct assembly part #120A. If the fan motor is faulty, search online using the part number only i.e. EAU64824401 / AP6887862 to find suppliers that suit you best. Hopefully this is of some help.
