Hello all, I’m Theangsreng. My MacBook Pro 2017 screen (see the picture below). I want to know whether this is caused by cable or screen, and which one is high possibility.
When I open the lit around 20 degree, the screen is normal. However, when I open the lit beyond 20 degree, the screen start flickering (please see the video below)
Few months ago, my MacBook had a Flexgate issue. We don’t have authorised Apply repair shop in my country. I went to local shop to change the cable for USD 200 and they offered me one year warranty on that cable. It was working fine until last week. When I went to their shop again, they said this is not the cable issue, this is the screen issue. I suspect that they are trying to avoid their responsibility of the warranty. I asked other local shop (but they didn’t diagnose it). They said it is cable issue, not screen issue. NOTE: the second shop didn’t know the context. I would love to hear opinion from your expertise. Would this problem be caused by cable or screen issue? Is there possibility that it is a screen issue? I am just asking for affirmation. Thanks for spending your time to read this.
