I’m encountering the flexgate syndrome with the cinema style backlight on the 2018 model. It appears randomly and is temporarly fixed after reopening my mac. I’ve been using my mac a lot so i’m quite sure this will become a common issue in a few months - Any ideas or fixes that could work?

You need to be polite, but firm. You likely will need to push your issue up the food chain to get it fixed. Sorry ;-{
