Ive done everything right, now for what seems to be the easiest last part everything has gone up in flames. The WiFi variety antenna is not clicking into the logic board, now it seems the antenna connector is deformed so bought a new one hoping it will work. Also the wide flex cable from the charging connector does not stay in the logic board now. Does the sticky tape around each connector help to get the connectors to stay in? Phone has been dismantled for two days so possible the glue is dry. Anyone run into this issue?
Hi, The wider flex cable should clip into place like a little Lego. no glue is required. if it doesn’t clip into place, you most likely broke the connector on the cable itself or on the logic board. This mistake can cost you to replace either the flex cable or the logic board entirely. if you could provide a few pictures that would be great.
