After changing the battery I had the same problem. I change the cable and the trackpad it gives nothing. What is surprising is that when I disconnect the battery and I went on sector directly it works. Any ideas? Thanks
Disconnect the cable again inspect the contacts of the cable end and the connector. I’m suspecting you have a damaged pins here. The other possibility is you had a liquid spill at some point and the trackpad and/or keyboard has a partial short which is causing the connection to overheat from the heavy current draw. You may need to replace the trackpad and/or the keyboard if that’s the case.
