I have an ASUS Zenbook which isn’t charging - it is just locked at 79%. I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago and had the battery replaced. I put a new battery in, but it is still flashing red on the side of the laptop and not charging. I bought a new charger today, and it is still not gaining any charge despite the new charger.
Constant red flashing usually means a bad battery. My Dell does the same. I’d also check the charge port and components around it.
