The flash no longer pops up, when it should.
5D doesn’t have a built flash.
Adjust the hotshoe. Loosen it off and check the contact in the middle, as is sometimes stays depressed/gets caught when you remove the external flash. The camera thinks it has a flash attached and prevents the pop-up flash from coming up.
The 5d doesn’t have a built in flash. You need to fit an external flash!
Hi Sally, The Canon 5D is a full frame DSLR camera and has no built-in flash. So, I am assuming you are talking about an external flash (like a Canon Speedlite) which you attach to the hot shoe of the camera. Tell us more about the flash (brand, type, etc.) and what settings you used when the issue occurred.
i think u have to get a external camera for this device
Eos 5 film had a pop up, but not the 5D Update (09/11/2022) My Eos 500d has a pop up… Are you confusing the 5d with the 500d??
