There are 2 parts to the dial: one part (1.) that seems to be the dial that actually controls the setting, and the other part, underneath, (2.) that has the arrow on it that points to the setting. The second part can be accidentally turned independently from the first part, which is what caused the problem. The part with the arrow turned so it does not point to the right place in the cycle. The manual doesn’t cover this that I can see. I need to know how to fix the dial so it points to the right place, and if possible, so it can’t get knocked off again. (Possibly by removing the second part of the dial?)

I’m not familiar with this models button. If it is not two part and meant to adjust separately, it may be an assemble part and put together with glue. In that case, you should be able to pull on it to remove it. You may see glue residue on the inside. if so use a couple of dabs of superglue to put it back together after aligning it correctly and stick it back on.

Omg. I have the same problem… the same exact problem! And can’t find a straight answer on the entire internet anywhere. Everybody wants your money and tells you to call somebody for something that should be simple. It’s a d-a-m-n , there’s got to be a way to align it and it shouldn’t take somebody with a engineer degree to come do it. This is ridiculous.
