F&P fridge freezer N369B SN EYR206583R Inside rear of fridge ices up around the wire thing - it doesn’t form droplets to drop down the drain but does pool under the food crisper bins. I have repeatedly cleaned out the drain and tube putting boiling water down it. We leave the appliance switched off and door open for weeks on end when we are away (obviously haha) so the ice would definitely be gone. The freezer which is on the bottom keeps food cold but doesn’t keep food frozen Or is it time for a new one. (I think purchased in approx 1997)

Hi, Is the compressor running all the time trying to cool down the compartments? If not of it may be a faulty temp sensor in the freezer compartment. What is the actual temp in the freezer? It should be approx -18°C when the compressor stops Is the evaporator fan running when the compressor is running? It should stop when a door is opened and start again when the door is shut. Also check that the door seals for both compartments are OK as warmer humid air may be entering the refrigerator compartment and condensing to water or allowing cold air to escape from the freezer compartment. Place a piece of paper between the door and the door jamb and with the door closed normally, try to pull it out. It will come out with a bit of an effort but it should definitely not fall out by itself. Do this at various places around the doors, top, bottom and both sides. This also checks if the doors are aligned correctly to the cabinet in case of a hinge problem, not creating a good seal Here’s a link to the parts diagram which may help, at least to location as it doesn’t show the names of the parts or the part numbers but looking online there’s not many parts available anymore it seems e.g. supplier 1, supplier 2
