Chosen Solution
My WiFi network experiences periodic outage and when the modem is rebooted other devices reconnects to the same network without having to reboot those devices. But fire tv stick will not reconnect to the WiFi. It will continue to display Network Error on the screen until the stick is rebooted. Is that an issue with my modem/router or with the fire tv settings?
If other devices like your phone or laptop connect without resets then your TV setting is the culprit.
