I had my Nokia 1020 run over by a car and it works fine I just need to get the screen replaced… since it is scratched and a little cracked. I only have 60 and need an LCD Screen Replacement. Can anyone help? I can’t transfer data to the computer anymore though and if I was to send it to nokia they will destroy the data and send me a new phone…… I have so many things I can’t loose off the device like pictures and accounts….
Reagan Games, even the cheapest LCD will still run you around $130. You can fix it yourself, check this video for the how to. The data will not be erased by replacing the display. Hope this helps, good luck.
I connect the USB charging cable to my Windows 8.1 and back it up. The images are found at \Windows Phone\DCIM\ and just move them all to My Pictures folder.
