Chosen Solution
I have replaced the battery. When powered “on,” the zoom lens moves back and forth, then remains “zoomed.” The LCD screen remains black throughout the process–a couple of seconds–and the camera shuts off.
i have the same problem i have been trying to fix it for and hour now and nothing is working but if i put the USB cord in my computer i can download all of mt pic and the screan will tern on for the setting for that only
