Chosen Solution
Just did a front camera + sensor assembly replacement on my iPhone 6 Plus, the front camera works now but the proximity sensor doesn’t. Did I receive a faulty unit or did I make a mistake during installation (anyone with any knowledge of common mistakes)? Had a close look at the unit, no broken ribbon cables.
Check u have the little rubber piece over one part and on the other side should be a transparent piece that’s not that important but will help it be in the correct position
