I recently repaired my MacBook battery but a week later my system ran out of battery and when turned on the keyboard was faulty! “P” would toggle the cap lock, “ back space” would press “=+” instead and a lot more faulty buttons. I’ve had to turn off the keyboard via karabiner, the battery has been running out quick also. Currently not sure what needs replacing, wether its just a ribbon or keyboard etc Found a similar post with more or less the same issue, just need a little guidance what needs purchasing. keyboard Why doesn’t keyboard and trackpad work after battery replacement? === Update ===

the image shows my battery going up a cycle within a hour and the rest is just different angles of the internals. I’ve noticed my laptop has been prone to overheating in the last couple days, which is annoying.
If the OS is telling you it needs replacing “battery showing red warning above 30%” Then you do need a replacement battery as the batteries firmware is messed up. As far as the keyboard we’ll need to check the connection on the logic board. Take a picture of the connection before you alter things and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question
