Hello, I’ve got faulty Iphone 4S (error 4013). Battery has been changed but when I opened my Iphone, I found a part free inside…very little, about 3x3mm Does anyone can tell me where this part should be placed ? Hello levenrek, this small pice is the gsm antenna cover. You have to put it under the battery connector so that the golden site covers the antenna connector. Take a look this picture. But I can tell you that this it not the reason for the error. I have the same. Checkout my thread maybe you have luck and find the faulty hardware. I will try around tomorrow.
error 4013 is due to communication error between iPhone and iTunes, or between iTunes and Apple server. Make sure your USB cable is good. Make sure iTunes is up to date. Delete and reinstall iTunes. Delete IPSW and redownload IPSW through iTunes. Reboot computer and relaunch iTunes. Make sure internet connection to Apple is good without anti-virus software interference.
