Hi All, I hope someone can help with this query, I have replaced a HDD on two imacs same model EMC 2133, but both screen aren’t working anymore. The image looks a bit washed out it should be a solid grey screen with the blinking question mark in the folder. Is this just a bad picture? Or is the screen color uneven? OK, lets get to the blinking question mark issue. This implies the system can’t find the OS files. So your system IS working which is a good thing. Did you prep up the replacement drive before installing it? Now we need to ask some questions which will give me a clue what we need to do. What make and model of HD you put inDo you have setup an OS installer drive?Do you still have the original CD/DVD disks that came with the system?
