Chosen Solution

I have a Galaxy Note 4 through sprint that will charge extremely slow. If the screen is on, it will still cause the battery to drain. I have connected 3 different Samsung Fast charger adapters with multiple cables. They all work on my Galaxy S6 but not on my Galaxy Note 4. I have replaced the battery with OEM and Non OEM batteries, replaced the charge port with an OEM charge port, and even replaced the screen with an OEM screen. I am still not able to get the Fast charger to work. I also did verify that the Fast Charger setting is turned on. Does anyone have any idea’s what I can do?

Yup changed the port and have two new bats, one direct from Samsung and one from Anker. Also use the fast charger that the phone came with and an Anker IQ3 “Qualcomm cert” batpak and Samsung factory car cords and charger. It’s not going to help. OK, as many of you may have learned at this point there is a USB charge chip on the board backside left 2/3rds up that manages the “quick charging feature” that has failed. There is at least one example of someone replacing that IC and showing the fast charge feature working. ports, cords, chargers, no. This is a common issue on Note 4’s. I love my 4 and still struggle with this issue but my solution was ditching the case and charging a second battery I keep in my EDC. Power save mode will get you charged still in 2.5 hours but regular speed charge will at best maintain the charge if your not using it full charging in 4 plus hours.

How slow it charge. For 100 % charging how long it takes. During charging you are using your phone or not. And put in other galaxy mobile battery to your mobile and charge it and check it how long it take. Also check other galaxy mobile how long it takes for 100% charge. 5 min difference is normal.

I have the same problem but after updating. I took it to the service centre they said that I need to change a chipset, and it will cost more than a new phone. They said that I have rooted my phone and that caused the problem. Any update with you guys?

My solution was a lot easier, I purchase a back cover with a wireless charging pad built in, now my Note 4 charges normally, not fast charging with wireless but it charges way faster than with the cord.
