I have a rMBP 15 2015, 16GB, 512GB, r9 m370x 2GB, i7 and since day one I never been able to charge my phone on it and Apple never gives a.. As soon as I power on my system the fans goes crazy and you can feel the high temps coming from under the display. I think it’s a VRM problem, but I’m unable to find a source to buy new ones and try replacing them, also tried all possible options via software. If anyone have any light for me I would be very grateful [edit] Added the requested pics
Just wanted to clarify, do the fans kick on high at the Login Window or only once you get logged in and get to your Desktop? What if you Option boot to EFI and let it sit there, do the fans kick on high then?
