Hi! My laptop is Toshiba Satellite L50-B1378. I got questions. Here are the details. The first thing that happened was the fan stopped working even when the unit becomes hot (Sometimes, the fan is working but it is on and off). The laptop suddenly turns off on its own. After that the keyboard and cursor pad didn’t work. In addition, the LCD became violet with vertical lines. I went to the repair shop. The fan was cleaned, keyboard and cursor pad worked. Got a new LCD. They even installed windows 10, got microsoft office. However they disabled the windows update, Xbox and WStore on my unit. It worked. The fan worked. LCD is good. But after I went home, the fan stopped working again and half part of the LCD ( lower part) has horizontal lines this time. What seems to be the problem and what is the best option? Dear 막내쯔위 @maknaeyoda It looks like your LCD was’t installed correctly or is faulty part and The fan probably got damaged while cleaning i recommend taking it to the shop where you have taken it and getting it replaced with a New LCD and repair the fan or refund as they work should come with warranty by law
