I replaced the graphics card on my mid 2011 27” iMac, and had to remove the logic board. I got it all back together and I believe that I connected everything properly. I fired it up and all works fine, except that a fan continues to run. It sounds like the optical drive fan. Could I have missed a connection that modulates the fan?
You likely damaged one or both of the inductors near the fan connector
