Hi. My ancient 2004 white iMac is still useful to me. I think I have a fan issue as when I use Photoshop it shuts down every 5-10 minutes but after a rest I can tap a key and bring it back up. How can I tell what fan needs replacing? How can I get the part? thank you!
You’ll need to dig a bit deeper here. Theres just too many things you could be facing. Did you try running diagnostics?Did you clean out the dust build up on the fans and logic board?Did you clean the old thermal paste and apply a fresh coat?
