My PS4 Slim’s fan gets abnormally loud when the system doesn’t even heat up (I mean, PS4 takes off when I’m in the %#*@ Fortnite main menu), and the air from the system is barely warm, you can say it is at room temperature. Often, the system starts to “take off” when you start any game, but in the game itself, the fan calms down. It’s started a couple of months ago, then the system heated up even from the Valhalla loading screen, I changed the thermal grease (arctic MX-4), cleaned the system, and changed the thermal pads (arctic). It has become a little quieter, but still very noisy, even though it does not even heat up. Vid
you will need to buy a new fan and replace it. probably the tachometer on it went bad. they are relatively cheap.
