Chosen Solution
After replacing the video card in my iMac, it boots and operates perfectly except one of the fans is running way too fast. I believe it is the cpu fan. I downloaded TGP. It shows all temperatures are good. Cpu fan is running at 3600 and is red. Any idea why? Thank you, Richard
Sounds like you may have pulled one of the wires out of the fan header plugged into the logic board, in this case the tach wire.
