Please HELP! Fan Doesn’t stop and Loud, Power Button doesn’t work, battery indicator doesn’t and the battery is not recognized even though it’s working fine and I’m using it, all of these coming from the same problem source which is definitly from the broad, Anyone knows what is it? So I bought this macbook pro mid-2012 A1278, and I tried a different board to check that all other components are working good, battery is perfect, DC power port is good, battery indicator is good also, so I open the macbook by either removing the battery and connecting the power cable and starts automatically or just unplug the battery and connect it again which prompt the macbook to start also automatically and runs fine on the battery but the OS doesn’t recognize it and it says 0% charged even though it’s not true, also when I connect the power cable it doesn’t light up even though when it works! I also forgot to mention that the laptop doesn’t go into sleep mood wether I close the screen or click on sleep from the apple menu when I disconnect eveything from the board and plug in the Magsafe it does light up though!
Well thats not good ;-{ If CoconutBattery doesn’t show the battery then the battery is likely bad. Its also possible you have a bad charger but I can’t tell you as you didn’t post the screenshot of what you got from CoconutBattery.
