I have a Late 2011 Unibody MacBook pro which is no longer functioning after having put to sleep. When turning on the fans come on for around a second with the Sleep indicator blinking once and that’s it. It goes in this loop if I plug in the charger, I tried all basic troubleshooting: SMC resetsNVRAM resetWith and without the battery during boot up I suspect it’s the logic board that’s causing problems since I almost have replaced all other components recently. Apple outright refuses to repair the logic board, can anyone please help me understand the problem and the resources I would need to fix it? Thanks much ! P.S - There was a similar thread on the forum but the only resolution was to bring in the logic board for repair. Sadly, I don’t have that option here in my city in Germany.
At this point I’m suspecting the logic board needs repairs or you’ll need to replace it. Given you unable to get your system to someone to repair it then you’re stuck into just replacing the logic board.
