Chosen Solution
I have just repaired an iPhone 4 screen and afterwards I have a small 10mm oval in the top right hand side of the screen that shows slightly skewed colours. If the screen is black then then the small part will be brownish. Is this just an LCD fault? or could there be something I have done wrong in the repair?
Andrew old question and answered for completion sake only. Without seeing what the OP has seen it will become difficult. It shows teh importance of trying to attach pictures of the damage etc. with the question. Since this is a replacement I would suspect a bad part and replaced it once more with a different display assembly. It is also possible that this is a pressure mark on the LCD from the repair itself. Both cases would have required a different display.
