Hi Guys, Hope you are all doing safe! Jumping on to the top straight away, I am having a white border fade issue in my macbook pro mid 2012 13” inch. This fade is surely due to hardware issue (not sure if the display is the issue or something else). The edges of the display is faded while the 4 corners have the maximum faded area as shown below:
Is it worth to get a display replaced for the model? Or Can I use it as it is? I am happy to use it in the current way, but little skeptical if this fade would keep on increasing day by day :(. Do you guys have experienced this issue earlier? Please put in you suggestions and thoughts here.
Avinash™ Kumar what you have here is a failing display. Yes it could “f this fade would keep on increasing day by day” but it can always buy you some time before you have to replace it.
