I bought an Xbox One with non working power and eject buttons, i replaced the board with the clip on it(clip was broken on board) and the faceplate with ribbon, the ribbon however only works backwards. so the power and eject buttons are switched. Is this caused by a faulty ribbon? or something else?
With what your saying about you buying it faulty it might be that there was a larger problem with the xbox, maybe a problem with the front board, I’d put my money either being the front board, or it could be the ribbon cable is upside down, but I don’t know if that’s even possible. But to be honest, if it works it works, even if it only kind of works.
