Had to replace the battery of my iPhone X, afterwards the cellular doesn’t seem to work and just ends up on a “No Service” state, it briefly went on 3G, but after closing the device back up, and restarting it went back to “No Service” As for Field Test Mode, everything seems fine besides CA status related things which just says Unavailable, I have no clue if that’s normal or not, as I don’t know much about FTM. Along with this, FaceID doesn’t seem to work, it doesn’t give an error or anything in settings or at any point, resetting and setting up FaceID again it just keeps asking me to “Move iPhone a little lower/higher”, or “Face obstructed” I’ve no clue where to go from here.
When trying to setup face ID and you keep getting the message “Move iPhone a little lower or higher usually means that the dot projector has become Faulty. The dot projector is located on the front camera assembly and is serialized with the CPU on the logic board so you just cannot change it. Some repairers offer a repair for this problem but it will be costly. Make sure this connector is seated properly for cell signal
There could be a lot of reasons for losing cell but if it happened after a battery replacement I would be leaning towards a parts problem. Look at step 23 on this guide and make sure it is fitted and connected properly.
Try disconnect and reconnect front cameras
