Hi So today I changed the screen on a iphone x and the face id is not recognizing the face. The frontspeaker flex is not broken anywhere. When I open the face Id settings it is showing my face but not setting it up. Any ideas what could be wrong ?
There is only one component that needs to be transferred when doing a screen replacement on this model. Getting the whole assembly out without breaking can be a tricky task if you don’t use some heat. The camera is like the home button in other models. It’s linked to each individual phone and only Apple is able to re-link a new one. It’s possible for other parts of the assembly to work while still damaging other parts.
