My Screen was damaged and I’ve got a replacement but the ribbon cable off the original earpiece assembly was also damaged and I’ve had to also replace the assembly. As the sensors are paired with the phone once replaced the Face ID is not working. Can the new assembly sensors be programmed to work with the phone to re-enable the Face ID feature?

Unfortunately, the Face ID assembly cannot be repaired under any circumstances except by Apple or their authorized service providers. Face ID data is stored in something called the Secure Enclave in your iPhone. Any attempt to remove it to perform a repair or replacement will result in the secure enclave chip being destroyed or disabled without question, not to mention the data is secured digitally. This is impossible to reprogram yourself; I’m sorry for the disappointing response, but it is the truth. :(

i have same problem on several phones, i believe that there are 2 components that you need to transfer to new flex and it will work, i will update when i receive new flex cables and do the swap - look on youtube - resq
