Decided to give my self a project while in quarantine. I recently replaced the screen and battery with the ifixit kit. while the phone was open I didn’t notice anything wrong with the connectors. After screen replacement the sensors still respond to light and change brightness. Id really love to get the cameras and face id working since the iphone x would be a cool upgrade from my 7 hahaha! Please help
If the connections are good my guess is the connections on the split board are damaged. I would recommend you send it to a shop that does micrsoldering. I would recommend jessa at ipad rehab ipadrehab.com or Jason sts telecom ststelecom.com
