On Apple’s wired aluminum keyboards, the F and J keys’ mounts are rotated 90 degrees making keycap re-ordering awkward. Is this the case on the new Retina Macbook Pro, or are all the keys’ mounts oriented uniformly?
You can’t remove the individual keys from a unibody upper case; they’re permanently attached to it. Just for fun, though, I’ve included a picture of what it looks like when you pull everything off and get to the keys.
