I cant find the reason why my microphone wont work when I record videos with the rear camera?? I have now changed all three microphones on the phone but there is no change in the sound quility when recording videos? Ive also tried to reset the phone completely… Is there some more component that affect the sound when recording? If I screem in front of the mic I can hear it when I play it but theres mostly background noice… Theres nothing in the way for the microphone. Please I need help!?
Have you checked the filters for the microphones / speakers? These can get clogged up and require a tiny bit of water and a brush to clean them if they are blocked.
What type of bad sound is it? Is it a clicking sound, a static sound? I have found that if it is a clicking sound, it is often due to the brace between the microphone and the housing on the bottom of the phone not being seated properly
