When washer drains after wash cycle our laundry room sink catches the overflow at times. There sems to be excess lint in the drain water. WHY?
wchurchill1 , I too see this at times from my machine. The excess lint you see use to be caught in much older machines in a lint filter which you would have to clean every other load. Newer washers have automatic cleaning filters which does allow lint to be pumped out. What you see is probably normal for the type of load being washed. Towels, blankets,etc can give off more lint then other clothes. I guess be happy it is coming out into the drain/sink instead of sticking to your clothes. Good luck.
