Chosen Solution
I have a problem with my S 5000 which has served me perfectly for almost ten years Currently when I turn it on the view finder/display is bright white with no image showing (on both EVF and LCD) and it does not take photo’s (or movies) Can you tell me whats likely to be wrong with it/how much it might cost to get fixed ?
I have the same problem with mine also. The problem may be with the failed image sensor, from what I have been able to find out. My camera is around 14 years old. I think that the expense to have it repaired, would not be worth the investment with the age of the camera. Ben.
