Why will everything on my microwave work but will not heat food?
Good question! But if it’s not heating food, then your Magnotron is probably broken. On a less expensive side, maybe a another part that powers the Magnotron is fried. Though since microwaves are very sensitive and can cause some pretty bad bodily harm if repaired wrong, I suggest you just get a new one. the magnetron takes electricity from the power outlet and converts it into high-powered, 12cm (4.7 inch) radio waves.
