As my ethernet cable got stuck in to the port. In order to get it out i applied some great force and eventually it broken…. and now the cable is not able to stay connected and falls off… how to fix that flap?

@arpit if you are talking about the “flap” on the cable, there is not much you can do about it. Either replace the RJ45 connector or replace the cable. You’ll find some great instruction about how to replace the connector on here

Asus K551L has a spring loaded flap on the RJ45 port. It’s hinged with plastic pins, thinner of them (the one that has the spring) was broken on mine. I grabbed a paper clip, straightened one end, heated it up with a lighter and pressed into the plastic where the plastic pin had broken off. Then just cut off the rest of the paper clip and you have a metal pin. Put the spring back (longer leg goes into the laptops underside, a small hole in the bottom corner) and shorter leg has a visible hole on the flap itself.
