Chosen Solution

So, my logic board died again on my 2011 mbp 15” and of course Apple is just done with them. So, stupidly, I sent it to be repaired by PowerBook Medic instead of just buying one here. Anyway, I installed my “repaired board and it started right up… and then gave me this message I was able to take a pic of. I reset the smc, but the error came right back… then while I was looking on my phone for a solution to the error, the screen went black and started beeping.. 3 beeps actually, over and over. So I’m think Ram. I tried one slot at a time and I was able to start it back up to the same error message. Not it just stays black and beeps. Any thoughts?

Why don’t you give it back to the person that fixed it for you. It seem like a problem with the logic board.

Do you have an external bootable drive? I would give that a try. Press and hold the Option (⌥) to gain access to the Startup Manager so you can select the external. Reference: Mac startup key combinations
