Chosen Solution
After changing screens my macbook has became unresponsive, slow and the fans are going crazy. I ran a diagnosis and got the codes PFM006 & PPN001. I’ve tried to reset the SMC and there is no obvious signs of water damage (as other posts suggest). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I wonder if apple requires you to run a program after screen repair. I recall watching a video posted on Louis Rossman’s youtube channel about an issue like this where macbooks may require a proprietary program to reprogram a new display and other components to newer macbooks like this one.
